This is a beautiful, unspoilt part of Spain. General tourism does not reach us here in Almuñécar. Although in summer a busy beach resort, it is almost entirely Spanish tourism from the inland cities of Granada and Madrid.

It is a place for those who appreciate stunning scenery, and a unique year round micro-climate. A special area whose rugged coastline offers water-sports such as scuba diving, water-skiing, sailing and windsurfing.

The dramatic hills and mountains which come down to meet the sea offer numerous other activities such as trekking, horse-riding, mountain-biking, snow-skiing and of course, paragliding and other air sports!
