Situated in the heart of Europe's most southern flying sites, with more all year round thermal activity than any other European flying sites.

From coastal sites to 3,500m inland mountains, this region provides everything for a Club Pilot (+100 hours) to the advanced XC pilot.

Almuñécar marks the region where the Sierra Nevada meets the coast. For the more advanced, there are massive triangle opportunities, for the Club Pilot (+100 hours) the chance for that first XC experience.

One hour away, the city of Granada is at the base of several PWC sites with huge thermal generators during the summer months & large easy take-off & landing sites for pilots for out of season winter flying.

Our guide will assist with finding the best local conditions. As an example, start on the coast to build confidence, & then move inland for the mountain flying.

Alternatively, head for the mountains (20 km’s inland) for the most powerful all year round thermic activity in Europe.
